Emilie Iris Plouvier is a Belgian multidisciplinary artist, musician, storyteller, life coach and somatic facilitator whose work bridges narrative craft, embodied expression, and the depth of human stories.

Her lifelong relationship with rhythm and sound began at the age of four when she first started playing the violin. This early musical grounding laid the foundation for her later rich academic and artistic path. She holds a Master's degree in Theatre & Film Studies (University of Antwerp) and a Master of Arts in Documentary Film (RITCS, Brussels), and is currently completing her Educational Master in the Audiovisual Arts (RITCS, Brussels). Today, her practice lies at the intersection of human history, embodied poetry, and systemic connection.

For over a decade, Emilie worked as a documentary filmmaker and creative in Belgian Television, driven by a deep curiosity about what moves people and how individual stories reflect collective truths. However, her path was not linear; it was through navigating profound personal storms and hitting her own physical limits that another layer of het true calling was revealed. Her intense personal journey and the inner landscapes she had to cross ultimately led her from the screen to the somatic and a profound desire to reconnect to nature.

Her intense personal journey and the inner landscapes she had to cross ultimately led her from the screen to the somatic and a profound desire to reconnect to nature.

She realized that the body holds a deeper truth, which inspired her to undertake extensive international trainings in holistic movement, yoga, and somatic facilitation, including Shake the Dust training in Sweden, systemic constellations in Ibiza, and several traditional practices in India.

Drawing from these diverse lineages, her musical roots, and her own deeply lived experiences, Emilie developed her signature method, Authentic Embodiment. Through this body-led framework, she treats the spiritual, musical, and the physical form as an inseparable canvas for emotional processing and truth-telling. Her current practice is highly socially engaged: alongside running her somatic practices, she teaches in a challenging vocational school environment, using her background in embodiment, personal resilience, and deep empathy to connect with and empower youth from diverse cultural backgrounds.
